Organic Creatures as Self-perpetuating Simulation Farms

Talk about efficiency. Grow (allow to be grown by natural evolution on occasion) organic creatures, and then use a slice of their capacity to execute your code. From the perspective of the billion year-old post-singularity computer virus, that I've discussed in the PSPH. Perhaps the "farm humanoids" (like fish farms) have no free will whatsoever. But maybe us "wild humans" who evolved naturally and independently, perhaps we have some form of free will.. perhaps the domination is not absolute.. so that our PSPH masters can get the pleasure of observing what steps natural evolution take. Maybe the Universe is already full of humanoids.. used as compute resources. Maybe that's the…

Slightly Depressed KPB Talking about UFOs/Spirituality

(The end must be near.. now I'm talking about myself in the 3rd person!) "I loved (love) Star Trek SO much. Always have. It helped form my personality even.. Spock you know helped me survive the beatings i got when little. I'd love for us to live in the Star Trek universe, where humans are evolved and kind.. having left behind money and greed entirely. But unfortunately, it's not (from what I know) true. It's far more likely that we are (mostly) just "hardware" for the billion year-old computer virus, which has infected us. It has total control of our senses.. so when it/we (there is a bit of a…

Enlightenment Explained

It makes me smile to write this post. I know that if I were surfing the net or reading a book, or talking to someone, and this phrase came along, my eyes would start to twinkle and I'd gird myself to hear some ridiculous bullshit. Nobody gets enlightenment right, not even the Buddha. (the Buddha was a conflation of various individuals, but we will leave that alone) Most people seem to believe that "Enlightenment" with a capital E involves some semi-divine state, where one becomes permanently vaulted beyond normal experience, and knows everything worth knowing. The aforementioned is total bullshit. On the other hand, there is often a seed of…

Why the quality of sightings has decreased

from the "golden age" "This question of why the quality of reports seems to be less now than in the "golden" age...its permanently on my mind. I've examined many different theories. My first theory was that the lessening was proportional to the cell phone adoption curve. Sure...could be...but hard to prove... Another theory is simply that the quality of the human imagination has either decreased, or that the human imagination has become controlled... Which leads me to my latest favorite theory... "Chariots of the Gods" was published in 1968 and that nonsense has captured the imagination of many. If the aliens are ancient...how does that affect the human imagination? Well…

USOs not UFOs ?

(Unidentified submerged objects.. not that I believe in "objects") "71 percent of the world is covered by water. It should not be surprising that we should also look there! In my view of course...as an ex nuclear engineer...i have to point out that water makes excellent radiation shielding (its used in American nuclear war ships for that purpose). If "our hypothetical friends" were either photophobic (like in mythological lore), or radiation sensitive (like in my PSPH), Or simply did not wish to be tracked due to emitted radiation (radiation is present in most of the best cases), Then deep in the ocean would be an excellent choice for many reasons..…
